About Me

My love for the outdoors and “all things wild” began in early childhood. Our family camping trips to North Carolina were epic adventures on a shoe-string budget.

Memories of campfire food, waterfall hikes, black bear sightings (and close encounters), the leaky canvas tent — wow.

Today I have a teardrop camper 4-feet wide by 8-feet long.

It’s not so much the equipment or the skills that matter…

It’s the sense of wonder and curiosity that makes a journey extraordinary.
