Jumping at the chance to be a volunteer photographer in 2012, I worked on Sundays for about two months.

Relaxed poses would increase adoption rates for the homeless cats and dogs.

This was my gateway into advocating for all animals.

Booked my two-night vacation to sleep “in the barn” at Rooterville Animal Sanctuary.

It was late December 2016. Very chilly!

With my sleeping bag and the sanctuary’s nice warm heater, I was as cozy as the pigs in their hay.

On the way to Melrose, I stopped to get a bunch of bananas for Tinsel the Cow.

Little did I know how much fun it would be to treat him to an afternoon snack!

It was magical meeting Tinsel the Cow.

Animal Sanctuaries

My goal when I retire one day is to travel North America and visit animal sanctuaries. These non-profit sanctuaries are inspiring people, changing the world, and saving lives of all beings (both human and non-human).
